Frequently Asked Questions
When should I begin alterations on my wedding gown?
Wedding gown alterations needs to begin around 10 weeks before your wedding weekend. I usually need to see you 2-3 times.
What should I bring to my fitting?
You should bring anything you need to envision your full look together.
Shapewear/undergarments
Shoes
Jewelry and any other accessories
How many people can I bring to my fitting?
I recommend bringing 1-2 loved ones max. If your gown will have a bustle installed, it is helpful to have someone witness the bustle being done, so they can help you do it on your wedding day.
Avoid bringing too many people with you to the fitting. The studio is small and it can get overwhelming for your alterations specialist and you.
What services do you offer?
I offer alterations services for wedding gowns, prom dresses, mother of the bride/groom gowns, bridesmaid gowns and any other formal gowns for special events.
What should I budget for my wedding gown alterations?
Iād recommend budgeting $500 to $1000 for wedding gown alterations. I will give you an estimate after our first fitting and will require a deposit before I begin work. Price is subject to change with significant body or work changes.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, personal checks and Venmo.
